Raspberry Pi has released the Touch Display 2, a 10-inch capacitive touchscreen priced at $80. The panel uses a 1280×800 resolution and connects to any modern Raspberry Pi single-board computer through a single ribbon cable plus a USB touch interface, removing the separate power and driver board clutter of the older 7-inch display.
The larger format targets wall-mounted dashboards, point-of-sale kiosks, and home-automation control panels built around projects such as Home Assistant. Because it is an official first-party accessory, the display is supported directly by Raspberry Pi OS without extra driver configuration.
Makers who previously cobbled together HDMI monitors for Pi-powered signage now have a clean, vendor-supported option. The Touch Display 2 is available now from Raspberry Pi authorised resellers.
