Home Assistant 2026.7 is rolling out, and its headline change is the automation editor. The purpose-specific triggers and conditions that lived behind a Labs flag for more than six months are now the default experience for everyone creating automations.
The release also adds a new timeline view inside the activity log, an update-all button for managing multiple device updates at once, improved timestamp display on dashboards, and another large batch of community integrations. This month ten new integrations arrive, including new RF and infrared device support, plus solar and water monitoring and Dropbox as a backup destination.
A small-to-medium list of breaking changes ships as well, so users on heavily customised installs should review the release notes before updating.
