Škoda Auto has pulled the covers off the Peaq, its new flagship electric SUV and the largest EV the Czech brand has built to date. Positioned above the Enyaq, the Peaq is designed as a long-distance family cruiser with seating for up to seven occupants.
Škoda claims a driving range of more than 600 km on a single charge — the top variant is rated at up to 647 km — backed by three powertrain choices and all-wheel drive on higher trims. DC fast charging takes the battery from 10% to 80% in around 28 minutes. A 37-litre front storage compartment (frunk) adds practical boot space.
As the brand’s new top-of-the-line model, the Peaq introduces several firsts for Škoda, including its lounge-style cabin layout and the largest infotainment setup in the range. It is expected to launch in European markets through 2026–27, with prices rumoured to start around £48,000–£56,000 in the UK.
The Peaq strengthens Škoda’s electric push in Europe, where it will compete with the likes of the Volvo EX90, Kia EV9 and the upcoming wave of large electric family SUVs.
